Stay Tensioners
Stay Tensioner Services designs and manufactures Hydraulic Tensioners for tightening rigging on sailboats. Although we have a large range of tensioners in our catalogue, most tensioners are made specifically to each customer's requirements. All our products are designed using our twenty five years experience and made only from the best marine grade materials.
Stay Tensioner Services came into existence in 1995 when The Seaway Group ceased trading. Formed by the former works director of The Seaway Group, the short-term aim was to provide servicing and seal kits for the large number of owners of Seaway tensioners. We then used the nineteen years experience Les Hackett had from his involvement in the design and manufacture of rigging tensioners for the whole nineteen years he was with Seaway, to produce our own range of tensioners.

Seal Kits with instructions for the full range of Seaway tensioners can be supplied by us to anywhere in the world, and frequently are. If you experience any difficulties while servicing, we are always on hand to give guidance.

NEW Hatch / Door Rams
Hatch/Door Rams This range of cylinders made specifically for hydraulically opening and closing hatches and doors on yachts. As you will realise each customers requirements will vary so much that it is necessary for these rams to be made to each customers specific requirements. Using our considerable experience in the field of stay tensioners over the past 25 years, we can offer you any feasible combination of cylinders you may require. These units can be either double or single acting or hydraulic with a gas return. They can not only open or close doors but can also activate pins to lock doors.
